Would you like to give your child (or grandchild, or niece, or...) something that won't get thrown away or broken, highly personal, will be used a lot and will probably be found in a box of childhood memories 40 or 50 years from now? That's the kind of thing we want to make for you. We don't have a stockpile of toys we've already made up waiting for your order. All we have are a couple of samples of a toy we have made. We'll be glad to make one for you. But don't be limited by our sample. Let your imagination or memory guide us to what you want. Did we mention that all of the puzzles you see here are hand-painted?

Another take on the whole puzzle theme...

Short names work best for short puzzle stools, but we'll worry about that when a longer one shows up. These stools are made of solid alder and are constructed without screws or nails. Pricing for these stools involves a number of factors. Give us a call or send us an email and we'll come up with a price for you.

Note: Our puzzles (as all our products) are made from solid wood. No laminates or composition woods are used without explicit explanation. Since 2004, hardwoods have been used for all our puzzles.

Princess Ruler

Princess Ruler.

This special-order, hand-painted Princess Ruler (especially suitable for measuring children and grandchildren) was designed with only the specification - to have a princess' face atop the ruler part. The ruler starts about 15 inches above floor level, starts measuring inches at 19 and, as you can see, goes up to 6 foot 2 inches. Each foot of the ruler is a different pastel color. Measurement markings are distinct down to 1/4 inch. It is screwed to a wall with plugs covering the screw heads.

Covered Wagon



If your youngest pioneer wants to 'go west', try our covered wagon. The wagon itself measures 36 X 18 inches and is about 4 feet tall with the detachable cover installed. It is equipped with side and back rails and has 8 inch wheels.

Of course if you need your covered wagon to be just a little different, we can arrange it.

A Giraffe for your every need

The first giraffes we made were for measuring children, much the same as the princess above. However, upon seeing our samples, we had customers ask for giraffes without measurements just because they like giraffes.

We'd be glad to make you one with or without measurements. Our samples are about 4 feet tall, but that's negotiable. At only $55, one of our giraffes will crane his [or her..., I can't tell] neck for you!

Halloween is less than 365 days away!

We make these 'glow-in-the-dark' ghosts in three basic shapes. They're all hand made, so none of them are exactly alike. At $6 apiece, or $10 for 2, they make a nice seasonal addition to your yard. They are constructed from 1/8 inch plywood and are glued to their stakes.
